Vivian Dsena on shedding 10 kgs: I feel fit and rejuvenated

After taking a much-needed break, Vivian Dsena is back with a renewed focus on work and a fresh, fitter look. The actor, who was last seen in a special appearance in Udaariyaan, has shed 10 kgs over the past two months. He shares, “When you are constantly shooting, you hardly get time to focus on yourself. So, during my break, I seized the opportunity to do two things I had long wanted to -- spend quality time with my family in Bahrain and get back in shape.”
He adds, “I started following a diet and workout regimen around Ramadan.Fasting during the month significantly helped me achieve my fitness goals. Alongside fasting, I engaged in regular training and workouts, which made the process smoother. Losing those extra kilos has left me feeling fit and rejuvenated.”
The Shakti --Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actor underscores the importance of fitness. He says, “For an actor, staying fit and in shape is essential -- it is almost a prerequisite. It also enhances performance in action, dance, and romance sequences. However, maintaining fitness is crucial for everyone, not just actors, for overall health and well-being.”

Vivian was last seen as Sartaj Singh Randhawa in Udaariyaan about a year ago. The actor, who has been part of shows like Kasamh Se, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, played the male lead in Sirf Tum. On the personal front, he got married to Nouran Aly, a former journalist from Egypt, in 2022, and the couple has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter named Layan. In an exclusive chat with us last year while talking about his personal life, Vivian said, “I have always maintained that I want to keep my personal and professional lives separate. I don’t want my family in the limelight, and that’s something even Nouran doesn’t wish to be put through. I am extremely protective of my family.”
