Vivian Dsena: I have become more composed and calmer since I embraced fatherhood

Vivian Dsena is in a happy space on the personal front. The Sirf Tum actor got married for the second time to Nouran Aly, a former journalist from Egypt in 2022. The couple was blessed with a daughter in November of the same year last year and they named her Layan.

Talking about this phase in his life, he says, “I must admit that Layan has changed me a lot and made me more mature. Now, I think well before taking any step or saying anything. I have become more composed and calmer. I love spending time with her, and one of our favourite activities is going for a drive. I often sing to her during her bedtime. I don’t know how she sleeps, knowing I am tone-deaf. I guess it’s the love and warmth in my voice that she finds comforting and not the tune (laughs!).”

There is also buzz that he spends most time in Bahrain, where his wife and daughter are settled, and hence isn’t available to take up new projects on most occasions. He clarifies, “I still haven’t made enough money to settle abroad. I gave away quite a bit of what I made. While my family is settled in Bahrain, I am very much in Mumbai and available for work. Of course, I miss them, but I have to work. There is no plan to bring them here permanently. We’ll continue visiting each other. For now, I am waiting for the right project to come my way, be it on TV or OTT.”
