Vishal Kotian: It’s still not sunk in, Shefali always looked happy and healthy
The entertainment industry is left in shock after the sudden demise of Shefali Jariwala. She passed away on the night of June 27, at the age of 42. As per early reports, Shefali suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence. She was rushed to the hospital.
Best known for her breakout appearance in the 2002 hit music video Kaanta Laga, Shefali was also a popular contestant on Bigg Boss 13. Her sudden demise has stunned both fans and colleagues, many of whom remember her as vibrant, kind, and full of life.
Actor Vishal Kotian, deeply saddened, shared, “She was a friend and the last time I had met her at a friend’s birthday party few weeks back, and that was our last interaction. She has always been very lively and fun. A person who always smiled. As she was part of Bigg Boss 13 and I went in season 15, I had taken some advice from her regarding the show, and she was sweet enough to share. I always saw her being a fit person. Life is very unpredictable and this came as a real shock. It’s still not sunk in — she always looked happy and healthy.”
Shefali is survived by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi. The industry continues to mourn this untimely loss. Many took to their social media to pay tribute. "Shocked and saddened to hear about Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise. Life is so unpredictable. Rest in peace," said Aly Goni. 'I can’t get over this news, my heart is sinking' –Kamya Punjabi
