, Vandana Pathak gets nostalgic about the re-airing of the show. The family comedy, which revolved around the five sisters of Mathur family, their antics and

anecdotes

had been a huge hit in the 90s. As the show is seeing a rerun during lockdown, the

television

stars from that era are reminiscing their old days.

"People used to call me 'Meenakshi' wherever I went, and that showed how popular the show was. Now my kids are also watching it with me, and are fascinated by the kind of format the show had. I even tell them off screen stories from those times" she shares.

She also feels that the return of these shows brings

families

closer. "Many people who watched these shows growing up, have become parents themselves. I'm sure even they will have a lot of stories to their kids. And as they all sit together to relive their childhood, the families bond better with each other".
