Vaibhavi Upadhyaya's parents cry inconsolably at their daughter's funeral; Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actors Sumeet Raghavan, Deven Bhojani attend last rites

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya's death in a road accident has left her family and friends in the industry shattered. At her funeral, the actress' parents were seen crying inconsolably while relatives surrounded them. Actors Sumeet Raghavan, Deven Bhojani along with producer JD Majethia were also present.

The cast of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai came to pay their last respects. Sumeet Raghavan, Deven Bhojani can be seen here with producer JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia.

Aishwarya Sakhuja arrived at the funeral. She had earlier shared a story on Instagram wherein she wrote, "Always admired you from a distance and then when we did work together, I was blown away by your craft. Rest in peace, beautiful. We will meet in the next life."

Vaibhavi's sudden demise has come as a shock to her parents. Her father was seen being consoled by his relatives, who looked equally distressed at the funeral.

Vaibhavi's relatives were there for her parents who are still reeling from the shock of her passing away. The actress was on a road trip with her fiance to Himachal when their car met with an accident.

Vaibhavi's body was brought to the cremation ground in an ambulance. Her family members and industry colleagues were also present.

Gautam Rode, who also knew Vaibhavi, came to attend her last rites. Vaibhavi had been part of shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, CID, Adaalat and Left Right Left among others.
