The actress, who has played many strong characters over the years, is touched by the heartfelt reactions of viewers. "So many girls have come up to me telling me that their mother-in-laws have changed after watching my character. It’s incredible to see how a show can make such a difference in real life," she shared.
Her portrayal of Kusum, a progressive and understanding mother-in-law, has struck a chord with the audience. "Many girls have also told me that because of my character, they no longer see marriage as something stressful or scary. Instead, they feel hopeful, thinking that going to their in-laws' house may actually be a nice experience if they get a mother-in-law like Kusum," Urvashi revealed.
The actress, who has played impactful roles in shows like Ek Ghar Banaunga, Hamari Devrani, and Ishq Subhan Allah, is grateful for this new phase in her career. "All the strong and sometimes negative characters I’ve played over the years have now led me to Kusum, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the love I’m receiving," she expressed.
