Upset Jaya Bhattacharya rubbishes rumours of bankruptcy

Earlier this week, reports of popular TV actress Jaya Bhattacharya going through a tough time in her personal life surfaced on social media and caught everyone's attention. While the facts remain as they are, Jaya is aghast at the exaggeration of the news that has made her seem bankrupt and pleading for work.
According to an online news portal, the actress has now clarified that even though her mother was unwell and in the ICU, she wasn't begging for work from anyone.

She is apparently upset with reports that declared she needed money as her mother's ill-health left her with nothing. Shocked at the incorrect version of her state, Jaya clarified that she has made her way up in the industry without anyone's help and has been able to take care of her parents all alone.
She also mentioned how people are calling her up and offering her work. Even though she feels touched by their gesture, she is not seeking sympathy. She added further that she did send across messages as she is looking out for work.
Considering this as just another phase in her life, which too shall pass, Jaya is looking forward to get back to work with dignity. Her mother is now out of the ICU and shifted to a normal ward.
Jaya has done several shows on TV including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasamh Se, Jhansi Ki Rani, Madhubala, Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap and Gangaa.
