Upen Patel was excited to be in Surat today (October 5) for a
dandiya
event, but the actor was shocked when the event got cancelled.

The actor called the event organisers fraud and has threatened them with legal action. He wrote in his tweets that he would take a legal action against them.
The actor tweeted on Tuesday (October 4), "Hey guys really excited to be in Surat tomorrow for dandiya event.. Hope to see you guys there."
When he got a call from the organisers cancelling his performance at the show, he immediately took to social media and warned his fans and others against them. Upen said he will also reveal their names soon.
In a series of tweets Upen wrote, "Very sad to let you know I will not be in Surat tonight as the event organisers have not made payment and have cheated people on this event. Guys I will be giving full details of the event organisers in Surat who had booked me to appear and cancelled last min and who owe me money. These guys are frauds and cheats I will be taking legal action against them and advise no one to deal with them."
Upen has been off screen for quite some time now.
