Uorfi Javed surprised everyone by being a part of Bollywood designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's newest fashion campaign. The actress on Tuesday wished Abu Jani on his birthday, making her special bond with him quite evident.
Uorfi treated fans to a new photo from one of the fashion events that was hosted by the designers. She is seen posing with Abu Jani in a red outfit and an elaborate headgear. The designer is sporting a black outfit with chunky silver jewellery.
Uorfi wrote, "Happy birthday @abujani1 sir. Absolutely the best." Take a look at the photo.
It was in February that Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla released photos of their new collection which featured Uorfi as their model in a hand-embroidered silk tulle saree. She looked dazzling in her attire.
Uorfi shared the photos and wrote, "I am thrilled to be dressed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. They are masters of what they do and have made me feel all the more empowered with their acceptance of who I am."
She added, "No designers would give me clothes which is why I started making my own. Abu, Sandeep have changed that for me."
Just a few days ago, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla released a new set of photos of Uorfi in a pastel pink organza lehenga. While some have applauded the 'elite' designers for taking the actress in their campaign, others have slammed them for 'hiring a cheap model'.
