Unhappy with her role, Chhavi Mittal quits 'Krishnadasi'

It seems like Chhavi Mittal’s return to television has not been a smooth one.

The first time around when she decided to return to television, after a three-year maternity break, with 'Doli Armaanon Ki', she was replaced overnight as the channel found her too hot to play mother to the male lead. She finally made her comeback with 'Krishnadasi' as the protagonist Sana Amin Sheikh’s mother.Much to her chagrin, the character hasn’t quite shaped up the way she was promised, because of which she has quit the show.

While the actress refused to comment on the news, a source associated with the project informs, “Chhavi has had creative differences with the production house over her character. It’s too late for the channel to make amends as she has made a decision.”

Strangely, producer Vipul D Shah maintains that Chhavi is very much part of the show.
