- Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi. Unfortunately, the actress couldn't make it to the press meet that was held before the launch of the period drama (10 January, 2018) due to an unforeseen incident.
We hear that the actress had a little accident as she slipped in her bathroom and suffered a severe ligament tear. Post which she couldn't even stand properly. Sonarika was advised bed rest by her doctors.
A close source told us that the actress slipped while rushing to an event and fractured her foot.
The source added that Sonarika, despite hurting herself wanted to attend her show's launch that took place yesterday but couldn't as her doctor had strictly advised her to take rest.
On a related note, her chemistry with actor Mohit Raina, who played Shiva in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, was one of the talking points of the serial. In the upcoming show Prithvi Vallabh, which is a love-hate story, she will be seen with actor Ashish Sharma.
The stunning actress, who boasts of a huge number of fan following, is known as one the most fetching actresses in the TV industry these days. Sonarika had made headlines last year when she had shared some of her sizzling bikini pictures on her Instagram account.
