On Duty' within a month, as she felt that it turned out to be a copy of her previous show 'FIR'. We hear that Bhanumati might now get retitled as

Madhumati

and actresses Rati Pandey and Debina Bonnerjee are being considered for the lead role.


When contacted, business head of the channel Anooj Kapoor said, “Yes, there are some changes on the anvil.” Kavita confirmed her exit. “I’m the odd one out and I feel the show will be better off without me. I don’t believe in its content and I’m too old to do stuff I don’t believe in.

So, no hard feelings. It’s just a creative call. I am shooting this month till they get a suitable replacement. I wish the producers all the best. I had a short, but pleasant time working with them,” she said. Producer
