TV stars share their Children’s Day memories

Children’s Day is round the corner. And kids everywhere are excited about their day. Amid all the excitement, our TV stars share their Children’s Day memories and plans with us.
Preeti Chaudhary as Sonia in Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi Children’s Day celebration is fun for the little ones but it is also important for the elders to realise their responsibilities towards these little angels.Kids are the world’s most valuable resource and our best hope for the future and we must help them blossom beautifully into good human beings.I remember on Children’s Day we used to have lot of fun in our school. This day was celebrated with great pomp and show. There used to be dance recitals, singings, skits etc. Apart from this we used to receive gifts from our teachers. In my show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi , I am essaying the role of an elder sister. I guide my sisters at every juncture of their life and pamper them as kids. At times I guide them in real life too.

Pariva Pranati as Amrita in Hamari Sister Didi They say ‘Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.’ To me childhood always seemed like a vivid game where it is complete with so many shades; there’s anger, jealousy, happiness, love and then there are fights and there is rage too. The fun that binds us to our friends is our lifelong treasure. As a kid there were so many lessons to learn, so much to see, so much to capture and so much to achieve. When I close my eyes and go back in time, the sweet smell engulfs me and fills my world like the dance of warm rays in winter. At any given chance I could give it my all to go back to my childhood days but as for this Children’s Day I am planning to surprise the kids on our set of Hamari Sister Didi and treat them with a lot of chocolates and surprises.
Navi Bhangu as Arjun in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai November 14 is a day for children to engage in fun and frolic. We used to celebrate this day by organizing and participating in cultural programs. The teachers of our school performed on songs and danced for their students. It is a day set aside to remember Pandit Nehru and his love for children. My character in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai - Arjun too nurtures a child in him though a spoiled one! I do believe that everyone has a kid within them My message to all the kids out there is to enjoy this phase of your life to the fullest.

Siddharth Arora as Bhoj in Singhasan Battisi My character Raja Bhoj in Sinhassan Battisi is so kindhearted. I am sure in that era everyday must be a Children’s Day for the kids. As a child it was good fun going to school without books to celebrate Bal Divas. November 14 meant celebrations followed by good food. Happy Children’s day to all the kids out there. Happy Children’s Day to all elders too as there is a hidden child in each one of us.
Ashnoor Kaur as Najma of Tum Saath Ho Jabh Apne Firstly a very happy birthday to chacha Nehru.I hope I have holiday on 14th, but if not, I would celebrate playing tennis with my reel mother, cousins and my neighbours on set. On the contrary, if I am given a holiday I will do nothing at all (laughs Ashnoor), no studies nothing. I just love to be free and be at home and just be myself. I would like to be gifted a Barbie doll or a kitchen set. I am sure my parents have planned something special for me on Children’s Day and I am waiting.
