Every show post Amita Ka Amit, sees you go leaner. am on a diet. I take small and healthy meals – preferably home-made. I go jogging, cycling and since I stay on seventh floor – I run up the stairs at least five-six times daily. So all that is helping me lose weight. It is essential to go lean as the camera adds more weight to our actual appearance.
Have you consciously been careful about the work you’ve done? I would say I have been lucky – I have got to play different roles to play.
In 'Amita Ka Amit' I was a very simple, homely girl, in 'Jhalli Anjali' I was a tomboyish sports person and in 'Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi Ho', I am a bubbly, attention seeker. I enjoy stepping into the shoes of different characters – that’s the fun part of being an actor!

Indeed there was a phase that with so much attention, I had started becoming arrogant. But, she made sure I study hard, was sincere. Also, I wasn’t allowed to take up a movie just because the schedule clashed with my exams. My parents made sure I complete my graduation, so I studied mass media.
