The TV show Vignaharta Ganesha, which went on air in August 2017, and has been a favourite with viewers, will now move to a different time slot. The show will be aired at 8pm now. Vignaharta is a mythological show based on Hindu scriptures revolving around Lord Ganesha, Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. The cast of the show has Madirakshi Mundle (Parvati) and Malkhan Singh (Lord Shiva) along with Hitanshu Jinsi in important roles.
While the show moves to a different slot, the makers are planning to get a new show 'Ahilya Bai' in the time slot that was earlier given to Vignaharta Ganesh. The show has Rajesh Shringarpure as Malhar Rao Holkarand Aditi Jaltare as Ahilyabai Holkar.
Actress Madirakshi Mundle, who is a popular face in TV industry, especially for her roles in mythological shows recently replaced Akanksha Puri in the role of Parvati. The actress entered the show at the time of the most important sequence of the show when it was depicting Ganesha’s Ashtavinayak Avatar. The show has been a pioneer in depicting the stories of various avatars of Indian Gods especially Ganesha, Parvati and Shiva and at present audiences can see the story of Ganesha’s birth in Vinayak avatar in which he kills the twin asurs Narantak and Durantak.
