TV show Suman Indori, which started in September 2024, is all set to take a four-year leap. The show has Zain Imam, Ashnoor Kaur and Anita Hassanandani playing the main roles. As per sources close to the production house, the show needs a fresher angle and more twists and turns to keep the masses interested.
A source said, "Producer Prateek Sharma's Suman Indori is headed for a leap. Devika (Anita Hassanandani) will be even more vicious and she will continue to make life difficult for Suman (Ashnoor Kaur). There are more twists and turns planned so that the show can garner better viewership. Since it is slotted in the 6.30 pm slot, it is challenging for a show to keep the masses glued to the TV screen. But, till now, viewers have enjoyed watching Suman and Devika fighting for their rights."
When we reached out to Anita Hassanandani, she confirmed the news. She said, "The show is likely to take a leap. My role will become even more powerful and evil."
A few months ago, actress Nishigandha Wad, who plays the lead actor Zain Imam's mother met with an accident and injured herself on the set. She was advised rest for a few days. In an earlier interview, Nishiganda said, "The team is extremely good and they looked after me well. I am recovering and have already started shooting for the show. In a few days, I will be completely fine."
The current track in the show revolves around how Suman is back with her husband Tirth (Zain Imam) in the house to find out why her brother was killed. She is constantly trying to find clues around the murderer and find out how Devika is involved in her brother's death. Suman's sister cannot give her law exams because she falls into a trap laid by Tirth's brother.
