We’ve heard of men and their mean machines. Here’s a look at the biker babes of Tellyland:Aashka Goradia Aashka, currently seen in Bharat Ka Veer Putra– Maharana Pratap, comes from Ahmedabad, where she grew up riding cycles and later, bikes. She says, “I started learning the motorcycle when I was only 13 years old. I used to borrow my friends’ bikes in the building and slowly it became a passion.
Currently, I own two bikes and ride them for long hours in open areas of Vasai and on the highway. I will also go to Ladakh this year on my bike. It’ll be a challenging and thrilling experience.”

She says, “My father is very interested in bikes, so I was also fascinated as I used to go on numerous rides with him. In fact, he taught me to ride a bike. Initially, I could not handle the weight, but slowly I learnt how to balance. I don’t think that bikes are only made for men.” The actress enjoys riding her bike across Lokhandwala and Malad and on the Express Highway. She also loves driving her bike on the beaches of Goa.
Madhura Naik Madhura, known for her negative roles, is a car racing champion in addition to being an avid biker in the city. She has won karting and car racing championships. Madhura says, “I started learning to ride a bike when I was 18. I remember I went to Pune and bought an old bike and modified it. After that I started learning to ride from a friend, practising in my backyard.” Madhura owns two bikes and regularly travels to Marine Drive from her residence in Versova and on weekends to her farmhouse in Lonavala. She also enjoys dirt biking with her friends.

She says, “Speed gives me a high.” Rishina learnt to ride bikes when she lived in Indore from her cousin. She says, “My cousin taught me how to drive a bike. But I also know how to drive a tractor and truck because my mother also loves to drive and she taught me on the farm. I regularly go to Khandala along with my biker friends.” She loves adventures and travelling on her bike to Madh Island. Her vehicle also comes handy for running errands. Rishina has never felt awkward or got unnecessary stares from people on the road. She says, “Maybe in Indore, but Mumbai is a cool city where people just let you be, so I enjoy my bike rides here.”
