TV actresses who were brutally trolled for wearing a bikini

Celebs are often subjected to nasty comments on social media. Actresses get trolled when they post their bikini pictures, but many of them don't take it lying down. Recently actress Jayashree Venketaramanan was trolled by netizens for posting her bikini pictures but she gave them a hard-hitting reply. Here are a few more actresses who were brutally trolled for wearing a bikini but they did not let that affect them.

Recently when Jayashree posted pictures of her in a black bikini, netizens started commenting on her post. The actress hit back saying, “I've always been comfortable in it. I don't understand why people make a big issue of it. It's so weird that these people who have never ever met you in your entire life have such strong opinions about you. They start talking about your family values, your character and even the personal choices you've made in your life.”

When in 2021, Donal Bisht posted pictures of her in a yellow bikini enjoying by a pool side, netizens started mercilessly trolling her and then the actress took to her social media account and wrote, “Clothes can’t explain a woman’s character! Never judge a woman by her clothes! Judge her by her heart.” She further said in an interview that her choice of clothes is no one’s business. She is not the first person to wear a bikini on this earth.

When in 2021 Tina Dutta uploaded her Bikini pictures on Instagram, netizens couldn’t stop themselves to ask that how can Ichcha (her character in Uttaran) do something like this? She had posted a screenshot of a boy who was badmouthing and later posted a screenshot again where he was apologising to her. Even after that she posted pictures and now has disabled the comment section altogether. She had then said in an interview that why cannot people accept her in western wear?

Rubina Dilaik loves to travel, solo and with her husband Abhinav Shukla. But whenever she posts pictures in a bikini, she gets trolled and this started happening in 2020. In an interview with us she had hit back and said, “I don’t have the habit of checking my comments. For me, it isn’t a bikini… for me it is a moment and I am letting my fans and friends know about it. I am not looking for any instant gratification. I am not saying that it doesn’t matter. Abhinav had shot some of my bikini pics and I had shared them. After a while I saw such horrifying comments and I was like, ‘Oh my God, kya hogaya’."

On the occasion of Women’s day Kamya Panjabi had posted a picture of her in a bikini and netizens couldn’t stop but express hate on her photo. But Kamya being herself she tweeted again with a powerful answer stating, “It does not amaze me how media reacts 2 my post as dey jus need their headline. Ppl can be judgemental on wat I wear it does not change my thought my words n my actions #HappyWomensDay again. We stand tall against ppl who still feel dat a Women needs 2be submissive n a housewife only. Sic”

When Arshi Khan posted her pictures in a green bikini in 2018, she got a lot of nasty comments. She was questioned how she could wear something like that. Some people even slut- shamed her. She didn’t say anything then but is clear that she will never allow anyone dictate terms to her.

In January 2022 when the wedding news of Mouni Roy was doing the rounds, she posted pictures in a yellow bikini. While the caption said that all set for wedding, people started trolling her by saying that is this how she wants to get married? Some said that they didn’t know wearing a bikini was a part of the wedding rituals. Mouni stayed mum and didn't bother about these comments.
