TV actress Sneha Wagh: I think Rajasthanis just love to feed people!

Television actress

Sneha Wagh

was recently in Jaipur for a professional assignment when we caught up with her for a quick chat. Sneha shared her fondness for the city and asserted that she can’t stay away from Jaipur for long. “I absolutely love Jaipur. The first time I came to the Pink City was for my shoot of Jyoti (TV show). After that, every show I did, I came here for promotions and even holidays. The one thing that bonded me with this city is the people, food and weather; everything is so perfect and balanced in Jaipur that I just can’t stay away from Jaipur for long,” she said.

On this trip, she visited a heritage resort on the outskirts of the city where she sampled the Rajasthani thali. “I think Rajasthanis just love to feed people!” she exclaimed, adding, “We ordered Rajasthani thali at the resort and the ones who were serving us were quite hilarious. They were serving me food continuously and just wanted me to eat and eat. But it was great fun. I really like the churma. Maza aata hai usko khaane mein.”

'It’s my dream to make a film and hopefully, I’ll do that soon'
While Sneha has done a lot of daily soaps, Jyoti remains close to her heart to date. And now, Sneha wants the makers to come up with a reboot version of the show. “I had a discussion about the same with the makers. I don’t know how it is going to happen but I really want it to happen. It was a beautiful show and all the characters had a back story and we knew why that character is reacting in so and so manner. It was one of the best shows that I did in my career,” said Sneha.

The actress further shared that she couldn’t get to enjoy the success of Jyoti. “I was very new to the Indian television and didn’t pay that much attention to the success that I got or was getting. Recently, I gave an interview to a UAE-based magazine and they told me that Jyoti is a big hit in Egypt and UAE. People are still watching the show. I think this is the biggest career high when even after 10 years, people are appreciating my show and work,” said Sneha.

Not many know, but Sneha is a certified filmmaker from a London-based institute. “It’s my dream to make a film and hopefully, I’ll do that soon,” she said.
