On Thursday, actress
Gehana Vasisth was admitted to a
hospital
in Malad after she suffered a
cardiac arrest
on the set of a web series in
Madh Island
. There were reports about her being on ventilator. BT spoke to Dr Pankaj Singh from the hospital, and he told us, “Gehana is better now and is no longer on ventilator. She had suffered a mild cardiac arrest. She had consumed some energy drinks and had not eaten anything solid for 48 hours, because of which her body reacted in this way. She was given timely treatment and is out of danger now. She should be discharged in a couple of days.”
The actress fell unconscious on Thursday afternoon while shooting at Madh island for a web series, and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
