Tushar Kawale on playing Shivangi Joshi's ex-boyfriend in Barsatein, says ‘She's beautiful and an amazing actor’ - Exclusive
Actor Tushar Kawale, who was previously seen as an antagonist Nitin in the show Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, is excited to play another negative role in Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka, which stars Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles.
Tushar is seen playing the role of Mayank and sharing screen space with Shivangi, who essays Aradhna Sahni. He says, "I'm happy to essay the role of Mayank, Aradhna’s ex boyfriend. He's an egoistic person who hates to listen to a negative answer. He wants everything to function according to him. He's a Canada return and carries a successful profile in banking and has a winning attitude. As he's very stubborn when it comes to things he wants, he's all focused on doing wrong activities to find his achievements. He's quite cunning and whimsical. The role is very powerful and challenging as he has a revengeful attitude and he's behind his formal girlfriend, for leaving him in the past. This is completely a negative role and I'm really very excited about the same."
Talking about his off-screen bond with Shivangi Joshi, he shared, "Shivangi is very beautiful and an amazingly talented actor. She brings positive vibes on sets. Though we don't share a good bond onscreen but off-screen we are good friends. We carry a very good professional understanding when it comes to performing major scenes. Also we enjoy and have fun on sets. We also make sure to rehearse the scenes before performing it. We share decent chemistry as friends off-screen."
Tushar also added that the show is another biggest opportunity for him. "I'm happy that after Molkki I got another opportunity to act in a show by Ekta Kapoor ma'am and Shobha Kapoor. I'm thankful to the makers for considering me and allowing me to be part of such a wonderful project. I hope my role turns out to be huge and most talk about. I wish my fans would keep loving me and appreciating my work like they did before."
Tushar is known for his acting in the show like Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2, Molkki, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain among others. He started his acting career with Marathi shows and earned huge popularity after essaying a negative role in Sahkutumb Sahaparivar.
