Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji written update April 14, 2017: Kanak wears Uma Shankar's ring by mistake

Kanak overhears Payal's mother talking to a saint and asking god to forgive her for ruining the life of her daughter by getting her married to Uma Shankar's brother. Kanak walks up to her and tells her not to feel bad about anything and that everything happens for the good. Payal comes to the temple with her parents for "Gauna". Also present at the same temple are Kanak, Vansha and Meena.

Meena prays to God to send someone in Kanak's life who could be like his father and make a couple like 'Diya and Baati'.

Uma Shankar brings haldi, which has to be applied on Payal to the temple and he drops the plate as Kanak's hand touched it while trying to hit the temple bell amid the crowd. The haldi falls on Kanak and Uma Shankar. Vansh comes and takes Kanak away, while Uma Shankar keeps looking at her.

Meanwhile, Bhabho is tensed about doing Kanak's kanyadaan. She talks to Sooraj and Sandhya's picture saying that she doesn't want to do this, and Babasa overhears her. He tries convincing her to not behave like this with Kanak as she is not at fault in any place, it has been 20 years since she has been behaving like this with her. She refuses to hear anything he says.

Mayank

calls Kanak to meet her and she is nervous about meeting him alone. She asks

Ved

to accompany her, but he tells her that she has to be with him all his life now, so she should meet him alone.

Kanak gets bumped in by a waiter when she sits inside a restaurant with Mayank and spills juice on her dress. Mayank gives her the key of his room and tells her to clean up there, he also says that there is a gift for her on the table in his room. Mayank's room key gets exchanged with Uma SHankar's room key and Kanak enters his room.

Kanak looks for the gift Mayank was talking about and sees a ring kept there. She takes the ring and wears it on her engagement finger. When Mayank asks about the gift, she tells the ring is nice. Mayank informs her that he has not given that ring to her, which shocks Kanak. Mayak reveals that he had kept visa application forms on that table on which he wanted her signatures. The waiter comes to tell Kanak that he had mistakenly given someone else's room key to her. Kanak is unable to remove the ring from her finger, therefore writes a letter to its owner (Uma Shankar) that she would get it removed and return it the next day.
