Tejwani. Pankti's passion for music leads her to Aahan, a rockstar who falls in love with her.


In the current sequence, Aahan comforts Pankti, who is humiliated after getting caught in an MMS scandal. Aahan and Pankti decide to run away from the city and end up taking shelter in koli village for a few days. In no time, the locals start treating them like family.
To add to the intriguing plotline, the makers have decided to recreate the iconic folk song, “Galyat Sankali Sonyachi” in a sequence where Aahan and Pankti will sing together at a wedding. Talking about her character, Jannat said, “Pankti, as a character, goes through a lot of difficulties and humiliation after the MMS scandal. This respite in the koli village helps her overcome the affront to her self-respect. I loved the time when we were shooting for “Galyat Sankali Sonyachi”, along with other crew members, it’s a fun peppy number that was really nice to perform to.”
Ritvik, who plays Aahan on the show added, “It was a great sequence for all of us. It was very different from our regular stuff, there was dance, action and great music involved. Shooting for “Galyat Sankali Sanyachi” was incredible, the whole crew came together, and we had a fantastic time pre and post the shoot.”Tu Aashiqui airs on weekdays.
