Tina has been a popular household name, and after gaining success and fame that came to her from the show, she has been on a tour around the world.

Tina has been in front of the camera since her childhood days. Her relationship with the sets and camera goes back to the days when she was just six-years-old. She had then starred in a TV show called Sister Nivedita. Apart from that she has been seen in several films and Bengali daily soaps. At the age of 16, she was a part of Rituparno Ghosh's 'Chokher Bali' which had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.
