Tarun Khurana

was last seen in the show Musakaan, which ended in 2020. The actor hasn't got work since then and it has been a tough period, he admits. "When the pandemic struck, I was in my hometown, Delhi. I was disconnected from the industry because I was away from Mumbai. I used to give auditions, but I was told that I wasn't fitting the characters because of my age and I look young. Also, luck plays a huge role in our lives," says the 24-year-old actor.

Talking about the financial problems he faced,

says, "With the pandemic hitting all of us, I had no work and no one was approaching me for new projects. I went through financial trouble and was feeling demotivated. This is a very competitive field and struggles in an actor's life just never end."

Tarun is currently in Mumbai. So, how is he managing now? He says, "I only come to Mumbai for auditions or some work. I stay at my cousin's place. Now that I am actively looking for work, I am sure something good will work out. This period has been tough but I hope to bounce back soon."
