The much-anticipated reality series The Traitors, an Indian version of the globally successful format that has already premiered in 30 countries, is gearing up for its grand debut. The show will bring together 20 contestants from diverse backgrounds, including social media influencers, television stars, and Bollywood personalities. While names of various celebrities are already doing the rounds, the latest we hear is that Elnaaz Norouzi, Rappers MC Stan, Emiway Bantai to be part of the Karan Johar hosted show.
Sources close to the show informed us that actress Elnaaz Norouzi, popular rappers MC Stan, Emiway Bantai are apparently doing the show. They have been roped in as players for The Traitors.
For the uninitiated, Elnaaz Norouzi is an Iranian-German actress who has made her mark in Bollywood. She gained prominence for portraying Zoya Mirza in the Indian crime thriller series Sacred Games.
The other contestants who are confirmed for the show are Karan Kundrra, Jasmin Bhasin, Jannat Zubair, Maheep Kapoor, Uorfi Javed, Apoorva Mukhija, Sudhanshu Pandey, Mukesh Chabara, Raj Kundra, Anshula Kapoor.
Hosted by acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar, the high-stakes reality show challenges bonds as participants face off in a gripping game of trust and treachery. Set against the opulent backdrop of a palace, the show is a thrilling mix of strategy and survival. Adapted from the Dutch series De Verraders, the format revolves around contestants vying for a grand prize, all while navigating lies, alliances, and betrayal.
The show was filmed in the historic city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, renowned for its majestic forts, golden sand dunes, and breathtaking desert scenery.
