The Kapil Sharma Show: Jaya Prada reveals Rajesh Khanna would reach very late on the set; first eat vada pav, give one shot and pack up

The latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show saw veteran actors-turned-politicians Raj Babbar and Jaya Prada grace the couch. They came to promote their upcoming Punjabi film, which also feature comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi and Ihana Dhillon. The seasoned actors told the host Kapil that they are his biggest fans, and everyone looks forward to coming on this show. In the conversation with the host, the actors, along with Kapil made many interesting revelations. Read on:

Kapil Sharma asked Raj Babbar the reason behind actresses eager to work with him. Did he help the heroines get more money from the producer? To which, Raj Babbar joked that female actors would get paid more than him. He also spoke about is first film Insaaf Ka Tarazu. Archana Puran Singh applauded Raj Babbar for his film Insaaf Ka Tarazu. The actor narrated how his mom pleaded to him that we will eat less but don't do such grey-shaded characters. Raj Babbar said that this was his biggest achievement.

Jaya Prada revealed that late Rajesh Khanna would come very late on the set. He would come at 8 pm at 7 am call time, first eat vada pav and then give one shot, and pack up at 9 pm.

Jaya Prada revealed that she would do 5 shifts and take shower at the airport and do makeup in the flight, as she was juggling between Hindi and South film industry, as she had to reach on time on the set. Jaya Prada spoke about her entry into the film industry with Sargam, where she played a mute character.

When Kapil asked who would flirt the most, Jaya said that it was Dharmendra, and he would do healthy flirting, which would make the working experience very good.

Kapil spoke about how he started his career with stand-up comedy, and Gurpreet Ghuggi has been his inspiration, and the latter's comedy has never been below the belt. Ghuggi praised Kapil for the success he has achieved in life, and addressed him as his "younger brother." On Kapil's insistence, Gurpreet performed on how an actual Punjabi wedding is and how the guests behave. Archana, Raj and Jaya enjoyed it. The guitarist fell off his seat as he couldn't stop laughing over Ghuggi's jokes. Everybody praised Ghuggi for his performance.

Chandu brought 'pinniyan' for the guests. Kapil pulled Chandu's leg, and Ghuggi made a joke. Chandu replied that this is how you crack a joke with ease and asks Kapil to learn from Ghuggi. Kapil called Chandu and told Raj Babbar that he is a very big fan of you. Chandu did the actor’s mimicry, and the latter got impressed and hugged him.

Jaya Prada spoke about her bond with Sridevi and how they made an entry in the film industry at the same time. They never got along but gave brilliant performances onscreen. In an earlier episode, Jeetendra ji revealed that he had locked Jaya and Sridevi in a room, thinking that they might talk, but we did not. "We had a very healthy competition, and I really miss her," said Jaya Prada.

Jaya Prada revealed that she earned Rs. 10 for her debut Telugu film. She was in grade 9 at that time, and that was her first earning.

Raj Babbar revealed that he checks the stage before stepping on to it because people love him so much, and it gets crowded. Kapil Sharma then disclosed a secret from his wedding. Kapil said that he too ran away from the stage of his own wedding, and sat in a room. He said that Ghuggi 'pra' was an eye-witness to this.
