According to the images doing the rounds on social media, the upcoming episode is going to be a special treat. Bollywood’s iconic duo and best friends,
Suniel Shetty and
Sanjay Dutt, are all set to appear on the comedy show together. The episode is said to bring waves of nostalgia along with some fun film set stories from both the actors.
As per a report in India Today, during the shoot, both actors opened about their journey in the film industry and shared stories from the days when they worked closely on set. They were extremely close back then, and the connection they formed has remained strong to this day. In candid conversations with Kapil and his team, Suniel and Sanjay revealed interesting memories about their early days.
Sources revealed that the episode felt like “a trip down memory lane” as the two actors recalled how their friendship began. One memorable story came from the time when they were shooting in Ladakh along with Abhishek Bachchan. Both stars laughed as they narrated how they struggled with altitude sickness during the outdoor schedule. They also recalled how they would sit under the starry sky in the evenings, only to later fight over heaters to beat the cold.
Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty’s friendship goes back decades. The two have worked together in films such as Dus, Kaante, and Shootout at Lokhandwala. Both were last seen together on the show Star vs Food Survival in 2023. It is almost two years later that they will be sharing the screen once again on Kapil’s show. Interestingly, their bond has been so strong that when Suniel Shetty stepped in to replace Sanjay Dutt in Welcome to the Jungle due to health reasons, he made sure to call his longtime friend for his blessings before taking on the role.
With Suniel Shetty and Sanjay Dutt’s special appearance, fans can expect an evening full of laughter, memories, and a strong dose of nostalgia.
The third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which began on June 21, has already hosted a long list of popular guests, including Salman Khan, the Metro In Dino cast, Parineeti Chopra with Raghav Chaddha, as well as singers Shaan and Vishal-Shekhar.
