The Great Indian Kapil Show: AP Dhillon on mobile phones getting stolen at his concert; says, “The ones who paid Rs 6 lakh for the ticket had to…”
The upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show is set to deliver a power-packed dose of music and comedy as AP Dhillon and comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi take over the stage. The makers have now unveiled the trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the laughter-filled episode.
The trailer opens with Kapil Sharma welcoming AP Dhillon and Anubhav Singh Bassi. During the video, Kapil is also seen making jokes about concerts, including tickets reportedly touching Rs 6 lakh, and stories of phones and wallets going missing in the audience. Kapil’s line lands clean and savage: “AP stage pe apna talent dikha rahe the… aur log audience mein apna talent.” From there, it’s full Punjabi boys’ adda flexing, teasing, and nonstop laughs.
The Mastiverse jumps in at full speed, with Kiku Sharda as Chota Shaikh and Krushna Abhishek as Bada Shaikh piling on the madness, while Sunil Grover storms in as Diamond Raja, taking the episode into completely unpredictable territory. Bigger jokes, louder laughs, and pure Punjabi swag, this Funnyvaar proves that when Punjabi munde take over Kapil’s stage, subtlety doesn’t stand a chance.
The announcement marks the continuation of Netflix’s collaboration with Sharma after four successful seasons on the platform. Since its debut, The Great Indian Kapil Show has grown into one of Netflix India’s most-watched non-fiction titles, becoming a regular destination for celebrity interviews, comedy sketches, and recurring characters.
During the event, Sidhu made a light-hearted remark, saying that Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda deserved to be honoured with the Padma Shri for their contribution to Indian comedy. He also jokingly referred to the infamous mid-flight fallout between Kapil and Sunil Grover from years ago, taking a playful dig at the incident that once kept them apart creatively.
The mood stayed celebratory throughout the announcement. Sunil Grover recreated the viral “Baby slowly, slowly” song that recently caught attention when he sang it with Priyanka Chopra during her appearance on the show. The moment quickly turned into an impromptu jig as the entire cast joined in, drawing loud cheers from those present.
