The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Shahid Kapoor recalls how he he once etched his crush's name on his arm using a compass

After featuring some of the biggest stars of Bollywood, music and cricket, The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4's latest episode is all set to welcome the cast of forthcoming romantic entertainer "O Romeo". The episode will be graced by Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Farida Jalal, and Director Vishal Bharadwaj.

The makers of the show dropped a promo from the upcoming episode on the official Instagram account airing the show. In the host Kapil Sharma casually asked Shahid if after marriage with Mira Rajput, he still gets messages from girls in his DMs. Reacting to this with a smile, he said, “Abhi hum piche Bacchon ki baat kar rahe the aur tum, ye sab pooch rahe ho."




Kapil jokes, "Bacchon ka kya hai, woh toh itne chote chote se hain."

Shahid quickly adds, "Arre par unki mummy ko pata chal jaata hai yaar, (the mother of my children comes to know)”.

The joke leaves everyone is splits of laughter. Meanwhile, Shahid goes on to recall about his first crush and shares how he once wrote the girl's name on his hand using a compass. However, it turned septic later which proved once and for all that love literally hurts.

When the fil's heroine Triptii was asked about if she has written love-letter to anyone, she shared, “Likha kabhi nahi… par padha bohot saare, (I did not write any, but have read many)”.

Not sparing Avinash either, Kapil said to him, “career ke peeche bhaag rahe ho ya Triptii ke? (Are you running behind your career or Triptii?)”, leading to blushes and some light laughter.

When a fan shares his love story about he asked his girlfriend to confess her feelings with a minute, Kapil pulled his leg and asked if he was playing KBC.

Next, Kiku Sharda arrived on the set as the hyper-protective saas while Sunil Grover joined him as an overly emotional bahu, bringing some daily soap twist to romance. Further in the promo, we see he stage suddenly turned into a TGIKS News Debate mode, with Sunil’s fiery avatar pulling the cast and crew into a hilarious prime-time love showdown.

Farida Jalal shared how Vishal approached her for the film. She shared, "The first thing he said to me when he came home to ask for the film, he said, 'Farida ji aap gaali dengi.'

The revelation left everyone stunned and laughing out loud.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and backed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, O’Romeo is reportedly based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

Along with Shahid, Triptii, and Avinash, the project will also feature Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Tamannaah Bhatia in crucial roles. "O’Romeo" will release in theaters on February 13.
