The 50: Divya Agarwal claims she is receiving ra*e threats from Prince Narula’s fandom amid online trolling; says 'Hate ki problem nahi lekin...'
The recent episode of 'The 50' saw a fallout between Prince Narula and two of his closest people Divya Agarwal and Siwet Tomar as they made a re-entry on the show. While Siwet showed disappointment in Prince, Divya on the other hand went on to make statements against him. She called him looking desperate for the game. Now, after the episode went on-air Divya has been facing trolling and has claimed that she is receiving ra*e threats online after her fight with Prince Narula on the reality show The 50.
Divya, who is holidaying in Maldives after her elimination, spoke about the issue through a series of Instagram stories.
Speaking about the issue, Divya claimed that she is facing trolling from Prince Narula's fans, who she once considered as her brother. She said, "Recently I have been receiving a lot of hate from my ex-brother’s (Prince Narula) fans,” she wrote on social media. While she said she does not mind criticism, Divya claimed the messages have crossed a disturbing line."
She added, “Hate ki problem nahi hai, but rape threats? (I don’t have a problem with hate, but rape threats?)," She went on to share the kind of the threats she has allegedly been receiving.
In one of the clips, she claimed, some messages read: “Hamko pata hai tu kaha rehti hai…10 ladke le kar aayenge…ra*e karenge, video banayenge. You deserve all of that.” (We know where you live… we will come with 10 men… rape you and make a video. You deserve all of that)."
Divya Agarwal also indirectly criticised Prince Narula, accusing a “so-called celebrity” of encouraging the online hate by reacting to episodes of the show. She claimed that he watches the episodes and comments on them, saying, “Aaj ka episode bahut zyada funny tha.”
The controversy started after Prince shared a video on social media after the recent episode where Divya went against both Yuvika and Prince. In his video, Prince questioned Divya's performance in the show. He stated that throughout the entire show, she was able to perform only one task and that she returned to 'The 50' after watching several episodes. Prince slammed her for claiming that he was dominating the game.
Prince Narula also said that Divya Agarwal once called him her brother and claimed he had supported and saved her during the game. However, he added that she later decided to join another group. Toward the end of the video, he commented, “Yahan bhi achha nahi khel payin aap (You couldn’t play well here either).”
