Thakur Anoop Singh chops off his long locks after 6 years

Actor Thakur Anoop Singh who was first seen in the television series, ‘Mahabharat’, opens up about his decision to make the big move of changing his look drastically. The handsome actor says that change was much-needed and that he wanted to make a breakthrough in the new year of 2021.
The actor says, "I have sported the long hair look from my Mahabharat days! And that is a pretty long time of sporting the long-haired look! I have been seen in the same look for every character that I played, and I definitely wanted that much-needed change; People wanted that change more than me.I was just waiting for one director to tell me 'Anoop, I would need you to change your look for this movie'. And not a single director until now stepped forward to tell me to change my look. They were all very happy with the long hair look that I had since I was playing an antagonist for the film"
The actor who'll be next seen in the Hindi and Telugu film, ‘Khilaadi’, will be rocking the short-haired look in this new venture. He says, "Although for this movie specifically when I met Ramesh Varma sir (director), he said I could experiment with whatever I want for this role, since this is also more performance-oriented, and not the regular 'Maar-Dhaad' kind of action movie. It's also going to have lots of dialogues so it's going to have a great performance scope. And I wanted to make sure that I stand out a little bit different in this film"
