Television’s Holi celebration with dance and puppet act

SAB TV’s 'SAB Ki Holi', a special show to celebrate the festival of colours, will be hosted by Dilip Joshi and Disha Wakhani (Jethalal and Dayaben of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'). They will introduce the theme of the event through a semi-patriotic act, performed by artistes Balveer, Meher, Piyush, Bakula, Bhavesh and others, portraying India’s cultural diversity.
The special show will also include a Pahadi act — by Karan Grover, Pooja Pihal and Muskaan Mihani; a Punjabi act — by Shama Sikander and Karan Godwani; Rajasthani folk dance and puppet act — by Aamir Ali and Divyanka Tripathi; and a Navrang act — by Karishma Tanna and Debina Bonnerjee.
Anooj Kapoor, Executive Vice-President and Business Head of the channel, said, “Holi is a festival to celebrate togetherness and spread joy and happiness with families and friends. SAB Ki Holi is the first of its kind, a multi-cultural event celebrating different cultures and flavours of India on one platform.”
Another highlight of the show will be a performance by actress Giaa Manek. She will perform the popular Brij ki Raas Leela along with co-stars Ali Asgar and Navina Bole. There will also be the famous Lath Maar Holi dance act by Jeetu Shivhare-Mandakini Srivastav, Sucheta Khanna- Rohitashv Gaur and Anup Upadhyay-Kajal Nishad. Famous Langa Brothers have been roped in for a Rajasthani folk performance; the troupe will perform to traditional songs like Kesariya balam aawo re padharo mahre desh and Holiya mein ude re gulal. Adding a comic touch will be acts like Black and White Holi (by Sunil Grover and Sugandha Mishra); Bura Na Maano Holi Hai (by Chitrashi Rawat and Kapil Sharma); Lath Maar Comedy Act (by Bharti Singh and Gaurav Gera) and Rajasthani Camel Act (by Paresh Ganatra and Krushna Abhishek).
SAB Ki Holi will air on March 27, 9 to 11 pm on SAB TV.
