Tejasswi Prakash supports Karan Kundrra amid cheating rumours linked to Anusha Dandekar: says 'Everyone has a past'

Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, one of television’s most loved couples, recently got engaged on the reality show Dubai Bling after being in a relationship for the past four years. Tejasswi has now spoken in support of Karan amid constant questions about their wedding and also addressed rumours surrounding his alleged cheating on former girlfriend Anusha Dandekar.

During a conversation, Tejasswi and Karan were repeatedly asked about wedding plans.

Reacting to it, Tejasswi said, “I have a boyfriend, but it is not necessary that I get married. I mean, of course, it affects me. I do think about whether it is time for us to get married. I don’t even know if I’m getting engaged. I feel like we have been living together, we are spending time together, and it has been so smooth. I am not clingy, I don’t want to be.”

However, when questions were raised about the cheating rumours connected to Karan’s previous relationship, Tejasswi supported boyfriend Karan and said, “We all have our pasts. Somebody’s past is out there in public. Whether he cheated or not, again, we don’t know, because he has told me. He thought, ‘I don’t care if the world knows, you need to know the real thing.’”

Karan and Anusha were in a relationship for three-and-a-half years. They were also living together and they together hosted Love School.

For the uninitiated, Anusha in a podcast last year on her YouTube channel indirectly accused her ex-boyfriend (which fans assume to be Karan Kundrra) of cheating on her. The actress revealed that she once secured him a campaign with a dating app, only to later discover that he used the same platform to meet other women.

Without naming Karan, she said, “The most incredible experience I had with dating apps was when I was signed to do campaigns for a dating app. At the time, my boyfriend I got him the deal as well to do the campaign with me. The most he’s ever been paid for this campaign, ever in life. And he used the dating app to talk and meet with girls, while we were doing the campaign together."

She further shared, “Like, we are supposed to be the faces together, but he’s using it to talk to girls and meet girls, which I found out much later when I discovered he was sleeping with all of Mumbai.”

In 2021, while talking to Bombay Times, Karan denied Anusha's accusation of cheating on her. He said, "I have remained silent out of respect for the relationship and I would like to keep it that way. At this point, I am also thinking about two families. I, too, can turn around and say a lot of things, but that’s not me. What she shared was her perspective. Sometimes, I start laughing when I hear things. I don’t know what can make someone so hateful towards another person. We shared a beautiful relationship for three-and-a-half years. I have learnt a lot from Anusha, and I have a lot of respect for her and her family. How is it that these allegations are being levelled against me when there is a development on my professional front? Why hasn’t any other person, who I have been in a relationship with, ever accused me of something as serious as this?”
