TV show
Tara From Satara
will air its last episode on February 7, in less than six months since its inception. The show, which revolves around a young girl’s (Tara, played by
Roshni Walia) love for contemporary dance, was believed to have found a connect with the audience. Recently, it also marked the comeback of actor
Eijaz Khan after two years, in a pivotal role.
A shocked Eijaz told BT, “I just got to know that the show is winding up. I have no idea why the makers took this decision. I have never been part of a show that has ended so soon; had I known that they were going to take this decision, I would have reconsidered my decision. I wish actors are given more clarity about things before they sign up for a role. Anyway, I am sure that they have something better in mind, and I wish them all the best.”
Tara From Satara will be replaced by the second season of
Ek Duje Ke Vaaste
, which features newcomers
Mohit Kumar and
Kanika Kapur
. It’s being shot at real locations like Leh-Ladakh.
