Balika Vadhu on Colors: Set in rural Rajasthan, ‘Balika Vadhu’ traces the arduous journey of child bride Anandi (Avika Gor) from the brink of childhood to womanhood. Married at a tender age of eight, Anandi had to accept and accustom herself to a new family and accept her roles as a friend, lover, wife and daughter-in-law during her childhood. As a young adult, she faces new challenges as she tries to carve out her own identity in the big world. The show portrays the plight of children who are forced into marriage in the name of tradition and have to bear the consequences for the rest of their lives.

Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat on Colors: The mythological series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat stars Siddharth Nigam in the lead role of emperor Ashoka. The show revolves around the life of Ashoka- from his struggle as the child of Bindusara to how he rose to power and finally his journey towards Buddhism. Ashoka’s journey was set in motion when Chanakya set out to look for Bindusara to take over the throne and protect Magadh from the Greek Army General.

Code Red on Colors: Code Red delves into the psyche of the human mind to understand what pushes individuals to change their behavioral patterns and cause harm to themselves and others. The show is an attempt to awaken the conscience of the society at large and urge them to report any wrong activities happening around them and educate the viewers about issues like suicide, crime against women and children and various other psychological disorders. Code Red is hosted by the talented actress Sakshi Tanwar.

Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors: Comedy Nights with Kapil is a comedy show which provides a distinctive take on the everyday life of a common man as the show explores the story of every household and how the common man Kapil is affected by the simplest issues in life around him. Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus: Diya Aur Baati Hum is the story of Sandhya (Deepika Singh) trained as an IPS officer. She dreams to break the boundaries of her existence of middle class values. The story is also about Sooraj (Anas Rashid) who is a self-made man. Sooraj and Sandhya get married under strained circumstances and her mother-in-law does not accept that she could become an officer. The story shows how a husband becomes his wife’s strength and helps her to fulfill her dreams. The program shows her work as an ASP in Pushkar.

Gulmohar Grand on Star Plus: Set against the exquisite hotel, Gulmohar Grand, the story invariably entwines the lives of its staff with those of its guests. Actors Gaurav Chopra, Aakanksha Singh and Deven Bhojani have been signed for this mini-series. The series consists of 26 episodes wherein each episode will have a different story. The show is shot in Imperial Palace in Mumbai. Gaurav Chopra (Anirudh) and Aakanksha Singh (Anahita) are playing the main lead roles.

KumKum Bhagya on Zee TV: 'Kumkum Bhagya' is a show following the life of a Punjabi matriarch Sarla Arora who runs a marriage hall and lives with the hope of seeing her two daughters Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) who are poles apart, happily married some day. Pragya, the elder daughter, who is practical, hardworking and committed to supporting her family though she's barely finished her own studies, she teaches at a college to ensure that her mother Sarla's meager earnings from the 'Kumkum Bhagya' marriage hall never fall short in making the two ends meet. Bulbul, the younger daughter is vivacious, smart, stylish and a complete dreamer. The show takes us through the lives of the two sisters, their hopes dreams and aspirations.

Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi on Colors: Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi is a fate-stricken love story of Ranveer and Ishani. A relation which started off on a note of friendship saw great hardships and is currently in turmoil. Set in present-day Mumbai, the show presents the story of Ranveer (Shakti Arora), the son of a driver and Ishaani (Radhika Madan), the daughter of a rich businessman. Ranveer is forced to play matchmaker between Ishaani, the girl he loves and Chirag, the man her family want her married to. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor. The tune of the song ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from the movie Aashiqui 2 was acquired by Kapoor as the tune of the show. The show also marks the comeback of Gauri Pradhan Tejwani to television after five years.
