Tanya Abrol makes an entry as an unconventional ‘Ghar Kaam Expert’ Lali

‘Badall Pe Paon Hai’ has been entertaining and keeping audiences hooked with its unique story, led by Amandeep Sidhu as the ambitious Baani and Akash Ahuja as her husband, Rajat. As the show explores Baani’s path to achieve success in the stock market and her relationship with Rajat, a new and exciting character is set to stir things up in the Arora household. Noted actor Tanya Abrol has joined the cast as Lali, the Khanna family’s new house help, though she is far from the typical maid.

Talking about her character in the show, Tanya revealed, “My character, Lali, is a confident and ambitious woman. She doesn’t like being referred to as a maid and sees herself as an equal, offering services like any other professional. Lali is a fitting name for her, as she is like the fierceness of the color red. She has trust issues with men, especially her husband, and her sharp observations about their behavior when they lie are often spot on. Though she initially comes to work in the house, she quickly becomes friends with the women. I’m excited for viewers to see the fresh and interesting twist her character brings to the story and can’t wait to see their reaction to me in this different role!”

Draped in traditional Punjabi outfits, Lali prefers to call herself a "GKE" – Ghar Kaam Expert, rather than a "bai." True to her confident nature, she even sends rate cards for the tasks she'll handle. Upon her arrival, Lali becomes a role model for the women of the house, teaching them how to keep their husbands in check. While Bishan, Rajat, and Gaurav are not too pleased with her influence, the women admire her. Lali’s entry promises to bring new twists and turns, adding a refreshing dynamic to the already stellar cast and storyline.


Tanya Abrol, shared her excitement about joining Badall Pe Paon Hai, saying, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this fantastic show.
