Taarak's Priya Ahuja to Urvashi Dholakia; When TV actresses showed off their stretch marks with pride and spoke about body positivity

The female body undergoes several changes and while you gain or lose weight drastically, the skin tries and adapts to the changes, and in this process the skin tears apart leaving scars called 'stretch marks.' A few celebrities have themselves come forward and spoken about body positivity, and how there's nothing wrong about flaunting your scars. Let's take a look:

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Priya Ahuja Rajda is in Maldives with her family. The actress, known as Rita reporter from the hit show, has been sharing several pictures from her luxurious trip. One of the pictures, the new mommy flaunted her stretch marks and wrote, "Yes m laughing literally lol. Laughing that yes I don’t hv a perfect looking body now. I have stretch marks I have loose skin n fat too ����‍♀️ but I’m proud of all that cz I have given birth! For 9 months this tummy was his home! My body took care of him N yes till now it hasn’t completely recovered inside out! But I feel it’s still beautiful!! Cheers to all the mommies n all the women who gave birth. Who kept someone else’s life above their’s �� PS : Also Cheers to women who don’t wish to have a baby or who r trying to have one or who wants to have one but waiting fr the right time!! Urvashi Dholakia, who is a mother to two grown up boys, keeps sharing pictures of herself in a swimsuit. Through one of her pictures, she spoke about body positivity and told BT, "I'm aware of how people try to bully women, who choose to dress a certain way after they become mothers. But I would like to ask, who has made these rules? Koi mujhe rok ke batao. I love my body. Stretch marks and cellulite are inconsequential, they are just marks, like a tattoo! My stretch marks are proof that life grew within me, no one can take that away from me." She also added how boys are never questioned when they roam shirtless. "Also, posting such pictures is not about making a point. I don't see the need to make one. I don't remember anybody questioning a man who roams shirtless on a beach after he's become a father. The same rule applies here. I was at the pool and this is what people across the globe wear to the pool. You only live once. Rytasha Rathore's Instagram posts are very inspiring. The Badho Bahu actress speaks about what a real body shape is and stretch marks are just a part of our body, and they have to be embraced. Posting a picture of her back, she wrote, "Was I scared doing this shoot? Yes. Was I scared when @rosh93 uploaded these? Yes. Do I always love how my body looks? No. Am I doing this for attention? No. Do I hope even one of you is kinder to yourself after seeing this? Yes. Even if one person is changed that is enough for me. By being herself, Rosh has helped me be me. She’s the only person who has looked at my stretch marks and said “they’re so beautiful”. I don’t see the beauty in them but she does. I krieddd when she said that to me. Beauty is more than what’s been sold to you. Good health is more than how you look.
