Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's former Tapu aka
Bhavya Gandhi recently lost his father Vinod Gandhi due to COVID-19 complications. The actor took to his social media account to share an emotional note on his father's sudden demise and shared that he fought with COVID like a king. He also urged people in his note to get vaccinated and not believe in any stories.
In his note, Bhavya revealed that his dad got infected with the deadly virus on April 9 and was on proper medication and he fought with the virus till his last breath.
The young actor also mentioned that his father was, is and always will be the reason for everything in his life. He even disclosed that his father would take care of himself a lot before and after COVID, but he still got the virus.

Sonu Sood, doctors, the medical staff and several others who helped him during his tough phase. While ending the note, Bhavya mentioned that he knows that his father would be happy wherever he is.
Bhavya's friend and maternal cousin, Samay Shah had also shared a heartfelt note for his uncle recently.
Bhavya is currently away from the small screen and has recently done some Gujarati films. He originally played the character of Tipendra Lal Gada aka Tappu and left the show in the year 2017. He did the show for close to 9 years. However as there was no growth in the character he quit the show.
Bhavya still shares a close bond with Taarak's actors like Disha Vakani, who played his mother, Dilip Joshi and Samay Shah aka Gogi.
