They reach the reception and introduce themselves. Upon noticing that Bagha's surname differs from Jethalal and Bapu ji, the manager asks if he's Jethalal's maternal cousin. Bapu ji goes to ask about Popatlal but Jethalal stops him.
Jethalal asks Bagha to speak in English about their room's booking with the receptionist. Jethalal enquires about the owner of the resort and praises its beauty. Bapu ji opens up about the 200 rooms and 200 fridges, and the television set's deal with the manager. Jethalal asks Bapu ji to keep quiet. The manager says they don't need anything.
Bapuji gets angry and asks the manager where Popat is. Jethalal whispers in Bapuji's ears that they can't take Popatlal's name. The server has gone down and Bagha waits for his identity card. Bagha and Jethalal discuss the possibilities.
Jethalal once again tries Popatlal's number. The phone gets charged and Popatlal calls Jethalal. Popatlal asks Jethalal why he took his name and asks him to stay quiet. Popatlal asks Jethalal to go to his room and beware of everyone.
Deepti calls up the black marketer and informs about Jethalal, Bapu ji and Bagha's arrival. They are happy to see the luxurious rooms. Popatlal gets shocked on hearing Bapu ji's name and the latter asks Popatlal to reveal all details at once.
Popatlal asks Jethalal why he got Bapu ji along. He tells him that he made a mistake and Bagha says even he has come. Popatlal tells Jethalal that he made a 'maha gadbad' by bringing them along.
Bagha informs Popatlal that the manager has refused about wanting to crack any deal. They argue over the phone. Jethalal asks Popatlal where to meet. He refuses to let them in their room.
Popatlal asks Jethalal to meet him at the lake. He asks him not to bring Bapu ji but the latter says he will come and even bring Bagha along.
