In the recent episode, Tapu Sena is overjoyed after learning how gold was recovered. Everyone feels relieved and goes home. Bhide is sleeping with the box, and Madhavi is laughing at him. Popatlal arrives at Bhide's house the next day, excited by the aroma of poha. Bhide returns his jewelry box, and Popatlal thanks him for protecting his box and inquires if the Rahu Kaal is over and to which Bhide says yes. Bhide and Popatlal are served poha by Madhavi. Popatlal compliments Madhavi on her culinary abilities.
The bank manager calls Jethalal and informs him that the locker is now available. Jethalal is overjoyed when he discovers Popatlal on his doorstep. He informs him that he was about to contact him with good news. Popatlal inquires as to what happened. He informs him that the locker has been set up. Popatlal asks him to join him at the bank and asks him to not tell anyone that he would like to keep gold jewelry in the locker for his future wife. Jethalal believes that everyone is aware of this and accepts to accompany him.
Later, Bhide informs Madhavi that he wishes to go for a long rainy drive. Madhavi informs them that they do not have a car. Bhide says he can get one. Madhavi requests that he must save money for Sonu's wedding. He tells her that she has plenty of time to marry Sonu. The following morning, Popatlal proposes a quote for Bhide to write on the board and thereafter asks him to write his name below it so that if a girl's family comes to see him, they will be impressed by the quote. Bhide asks if he's serious and informs him that he will not write his name. Popatlal storms away in a rage. Bhide finishes the quote and walks away, but somebody drives a tempo and nearly hits him.
