Swini Khara: I have always loved Spain and we look forward to our honeymoon

Cheeni Kum and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby actress Swini Khara got married to businessman Urvish Desai on December 26 at a heritage property in Jaipur. The actress and her husband are having a wedding reception today in Mumbai, and in a few days, will head to Spain for their honeymoon.

Swini said, "I have always loved Spain and it was a dream to go there. Finally, my dream is coming true. It will be slightly cold, but I am looking forward to the trip."

Talking about their beautiful wedding in Jaipur, Swini said, "It went off very well. We had a lot of fun at our wedding and we practically danced at every event. My husband and my friends surprised me at most of our pre-wedding events. We chose a destination wedding because we wanted the entire family to come together and celebrate the occasion which was not possible in Mumbai. The wedding was preceded by sangeet, haldi and mehendi functions and we also had a pool party before the wedding. Our sangeet function was the highlight of the wedding because we performed together. It was an act which focussed on our entire journey, right from the time we met, to the wedding. It feels good to be sharing the same house with somebody I love. I look forward to this new chapter in my life."

On the work front, Swini had earlier told BT, "I would love to get back to work if there is something exciting. I quit acting in 2016 because I wanted to pursue my law studies. Now, I am enjoying myself on social media as an influencer and hoping to land interesting projects."
