The star cast of popular daily soap,
Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur recently had a reunion. The show starred
Helly Shah (Swara) and
Tejasswi Prakash (Ragini) in lead roles.
"We had been planning since a long time to have a reunion. All of us were like a family on the sets and we share many memories. To freshen up we finally decided to meet up last night. But we missed Tejasswi and others as some were busy and some were even not in town. I really want to soon plan another reunion when everyone is present," said Helly Shah.
The reunion was attended by Parineeta Borthakur, Amar Sharma, Sonica Handa, Shalini Kapoor, Roop Durgapal and Helly Shah.
Roop Durgapal who played cameo in the show, added, "It was fun we met at a mall, and ended up partying at a club. We enjoyed the mouth-watering food, drinks and some nice music. It was really energetic."
Tejasswi, who is now shooting for Pehredar Piya Ki sequel and couldn't attend the reunion, said, "I was shooting so couldn't join the fun. I missed it."
Swaragini went off-air last year in December. It was based on the complex relationship between two half-sisters, Swara and Ragini played Helly Shah, Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar. The role of their love interest was played by
Varun Kapoor
and
Namish Taneja
respectively. The show had an ensemble cast.
