Surbhi Jyoti celebrates first wedding anniversary with Sumit Suri, shares unseen pictures from their big day

Actress Surbhi Jyoti, last year surprised her fans when she tied the knot with actor Sumit Suri in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony. The couple’s pictures and videos from their special day went viral soon after, with fans showering them with love and admiration. The pictures capture the joyous energy of her loved ones from dancing together at the sangeet to rehearsing their moves ahead of the function. In a few playful shots, Surbhi’s friends can also be seen enjoying some light-hearted mischief during the haldi ceremony, adding to the fun of the occasion.


The couple’s wedding took place in Jim Corbett on October 27, surrounded by family and close industry friends. The guest list included several well-known names from the entertainment world such as Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Kishwer Merchantt, Suyash Rai, Chirag Paswan, and Vishal Singh.

Surbhi and Sumit’s love story reportedly began on the sets of the music video “Haanji – The Marriage Mantra”, where they played the roles of a bride and groom. Their on-screen chemistry soon blossomed into a real-life romance, and after years of dating, they decided to take the next step and get married.

Surbhi Jyoti is widely known for her performances in popular television shows such as Qubool Hai, Naagin, Ishqbaaz, Tanhaiyan, and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Sumit Suri, on the other hand, made his film debut in 2013 with the adventure thriller Warning, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Anubhav Sinha and Jitendra Jain. He later appeared in films like What the Fish, Babloo Happy Hai, Surkhaab, and A Billion Colour Story. His most recent appearance was in the comedy film 14 Phere, alongside Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda.
