In the upcoming show 'Krishan Kanhaiya', where the story revolves around the common man Nikhil Ratnaparkhi and his encounters with Lord Krishna (Siddharth Arora), we have learnt that Sudhir Pandey and Shubhangi Gokhale will play Nikhil’s parents in the show.
Sudhir Pandey, who has earlier worked with the show’s producer Ashwini Dheer, tells us, his experiences.
He says, “I worked recently in Lapataganj with Ashwini, and I am impressed by the way he writes — his ability to find humour in simple situations.”
Pandey, who plays Bansilaal Gupta, says, “While Krishna taught us to love and respect, on the other hand he also taught us to fight against odds.
I do believe that he is not only around us, but within us. But we are so immersed in our daily life complications that we fail to find the inner strength.”

Shubhangi Gokhale, who plays Shanti Gupta, says, “I enjoy such simple shows where we can all get together to do something creative.”
Ask her if she believes in the fact that Lord Krishna can come down to earth like they show in their show, and she says, “If you keep your senses alive, you can find God anywhere, in any form. But more than that I want to ask him that inspite of many educated people in the country, why is India so dirty and polluted? Why people don’t have any civic sense?”
