Sudha Chandran revisits her past

With the wedding bells ringing for Aakash (Pankaj Tiwari) and Angana (Shriya Jha), in Sahara One’s show “Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga”, the viewers are in for a special musical and dance treat.
The Raichand family has decided to organise a sangeet night filled with amusement and excitement. The ceremony will see a dance-off between the gharjamais of the family proving their love for their better halves.But the highlight will be actress Sudha Chandran aka Kalyani Devi’s performance to her popular yesteryear number, “Jhoom Jhoom” from “Naache Mayuri”.
Sudha says, “Dance is my passion and when I was informed about the dance sequence, that too on “Naache Mayuri”, it came to me as a surprise. It brought back so many memories. I first performed to this song 27 years ago in my movie and even today I remember every move. I have performed on the small screen for the first time and hope that viewers will enjoy this performance.” Sooraj Barjatya says, “Sudhaji has been an example of courage and strength to all of us. It’s a privilege to have her perform to the same song after 27 years on our show.”
