Srishty to donate her tresses, too

Srishty Rode has cut her long hair short and plans to donate her tresses to cancer patients. “I have been wanting to cut my hair for a long time, but couldn’t muster the courage.”
When she shared her plan with her friends, she was inundated with requests to give away the chopped hair from various people.

“Initially, I didn’t understand why people were asking for my chopped hair.I later learnt that a lot can be done with so much hair, like making a switch or patch. But when I got to know about hair being donated for cancer patients, I immediately cut nine inches of my hair the same day. I have kept the hair safely and am looking for the right person to donate it to,” she says.
