Srishty Rode: I never said goodbye to TV

and Kitchen Champion 5 said that she never said goodbye to TV and that the medium is and will always remain her first love.

In an interview with us, she said, "I started my career with TV; it has given me everything. Yes, I would love to explore other mediums but TV will always remain my first love. Also, I never said goodbye to TV. After Bigg Boss 12, I got busy with the shooting of my Bollywood debut film Gabru Gang and that took my whole 2019. After that, I took a deliberate break, something which I always do after almost every project of mine. And I admit that it isn't always wise to take breaks so often. But then I have no regrets. And after I completed shooting for my film, the coronavirus pandemic hit us. It led to so many projects getting cancelled and the entire country was under lockdown. And it's not like I was not getting offers. I was but I wanted to do something new and interesting. Around November last year, I did a music video with Vishal Singh. And before I could take up any project, I had to get myself treated for a stomach infection. Right now, I am currently on bed rest. But I can't wait to get back to work."
