Splitsvilla X6 finale: Kashish Kapoor slams Niharika Tiwari for mocking Preet Singh over assault incident; says, “This is shaming the victim”

The finale of Splitsvilla X6 is over but the controversies related to the contestants don't seem to die down. In the finale episode, there was a heated argument and shocking remarks from finalist Niharika Tiwari that went viral on social media. Viewers were already miffed with her disrespectful behaviour towards Nia Sharma and her another remark against contestant Preet Singh led to massive outrage on social media.

Niharika is accused of mocking Preet’s assault incident that allegedly happened with her in Mumbai during the fight. “Ek baar teri fielding set hui hai na Mumbai mai, ek baar maar khai hai na tu Mumbai mai,” Niharika was heard saying in the viral clip. The comment immediately sparked a backlash online, with many viewers calling it insensitive, tasteless and victim shaming.








Kashish Kapoor, a former Splitsvilla contestant, reacted strongly to the controversy through a video on social media soon after the episode aired. Kashish snapped at Niharika for bringing up a traumatic event during an argument and accused her of shaming a victim to win a fight.

Reacting to the incident, Kashish said, “Did she really tell Preet, ‘ek baar teri fielding set hui hai na Mumbai mein, ek baar maar khai hai na tu Mumbai mai’? Seriously? That’s cheap. That’s uneducated. And that’s the lowest of the lows. I don’t even know. You just proved Preet right. You just proved Preet’s point right. You absolutely proved her right. She didn’t even have to clarify. This is shaming the victim. This is why most victims don’t come forward. Because the moment they come forward, one way or another, somebody or the other, in a stupid argument just to win, will use it against them. This is why most victims don’t come forward. This girl just came forward about something so embarrassing, kind of traumatic, and shameful because of the stigma around it, thanks to people like you. She came forward and mentioned how she was physically assaulted, attacked, in a city like Mumbai. And you made fun of her for your personal vendetta. You made fun of her — ‘You got beaten up once in Mumbai.’ Victim blaming and victim shaming at the highest order. Wow. How brainless is this girl, Niharika? Because they’re saying that her connection is fake, that it was made on the show. And she thinks the answer to that is, ‘You got beaten up in Mumbai. Your fielding was set.’ Okay fine, somebody slapped you — it was wrong. But will you cut someone’s leg? It was worse with her. How are you even comparing it? Don’t you use your brain? What the f**k? Now Niharika doesn’t understand… what should I say?’”


Kashish’s video has now gone viral on social media. Several users supported her stand and slammed Niharika’s remarks. The controversy has reignited discussions around victim shaming, accountability and the toxicity of personal attacks in reality show confrontations.
