Splitsvilla X6 fame Asmita Adhikari undergoes surgery after ignoring early health symptoms: says “I noticed a lump in my body…”

Asmita Adhikari, who shot to popularity after participating in dating reality show Splitsvilla X6, recently shared an important update about her health with fans on social media. The reality star took to her Instagram account to share photos from her hospital bed and spoke about undergoing a surgery. She also opened up about how she was ignoring health issues for a last few months and eventually had to get operated.

In her emotional post, Asmita Adhikari also opened up about her personal experience to spread awareness and urge people to pay attention to unusual changes in their bodies instead of ignoring them.

Speaking about her experience, Asmita wrote, "I wanted to make this post to spread awareness! Please don’t ignore the signs your body gives you. Listen to your body and consult a doctor as soon as something feels off."


She added, "Months before splits, I noticed a lump in my body, but I ignored it because it wasn’t very big and would sometimes get smaller/disappear. I didn’t tell anyone or consult a doctor because I thought it wasn’t a big deal [That’s where I went wrong] After months, it got worse."

Asmita revealed how the situation got worse and the pain kept increasing as she did not pay attention initially, "It started to hurt and the pain kept increasing, disrupting my daily life to the point that I finally had to undergo surgery to have it removed because it was too late for medication to heal it."

She urged everyone to never ignore symptoms and never ignore health, Now I have to take extra care of myself…change my lifestyle and diet. So please, whenever you feel something unusual or uneasy in your body, never ignore it. Get it checked ASAP. I miss being active here, interacting with you all and making content but I’ll come back stronger ! Take care of yourselves and spread love."

Asmita formed a close bond with co-contestant Niharika Tiwari and the two were often seen standing by each other during their stint in Splitsvilla X6. They were considered best friends inside the villa. However, later things turned sour between the two and they unfollowed each other on social media.
